Successful Email Marketing - How It’s Done
Joe discusses how businesses can use email marketing as a powerful method for boosting your online business and skyrocketing your ROI. This is a very good video to introduce you to email marketing, the only thing that you should be aware of is Joe suggests using a double opt-in approach with building your email list, this used to be best practice but there is some talk within the industry of single opt-in being the new best practice. Your organization will need to decide which option is best for your strategy.
PPC vs. SEO or Pay Per Click vs. Search Engine Optimization
Ann Premazon has but a great video together that really explains pay per click vs. search engine optimization and argues which better and what is better for getting traffic to your site? By combining both methods, you can quickly get the upper hand on your competition. PPC surely has some advantages with Instant traffic, ease to set up and track, keyword conversion testing, A/B testing with ads, and being able to track your ROI or return on investment. If you don’t have a strong grasp on what PPC and SEO are, I recommend this video to get down the basics.
Six Simple Steps for a Super Web Strategy
Another great video by Ann Premazon from Business Web Basics, in this clip Ann breaks down how easy building your simple web strategy really is. These are business basics for any company wanting an Internet presence. Getting started is very simple but gives you so many opportunities once your web site is going. Ann explains buying a domain name for your website, getting a web address or host for your site, building a website, having your site show organically where you want it (SEO) and have your advertising (PPC) show where you want it, and that you have to test, track, analyze, and repeat to build a winning web strategy.
